Congratulations Dr. Melissa Gonzalez-Soto!

On December 3rd, Melissa successfully defended her PhD Thesis, entitled: Investigating the Effects of Milk Protein Vs. Soy Protein on Omega-3 Polyunsaturated Fatty Acid Metabolism and Energy Balance: Evidence from Preclinical and Clinical Models. Melissa had a highly productive PhD thesis that saw her conduct both a mouse feeding study and a human clinical trial to study the effects of dairy and soy protein on long-chain omega-3 fatty acid synthesis. She has published several papers in excellent journals, with more in the pipeline. Congratulations Melissa on a fantastic PhD! Your research interests opened new avenues of investigation in the lab and we promise to continue building on the successful foundation you have established.
